The president of the PPCV, Carlos Mazón, stressed yesterday afternoon that now his objective is to lead the popular Valencians to help achieve a change in the Government of Spain. "The results of the PP in the Community are the springboard to achieve change in the government of Spain," he announced on the Board of Directors of the Valencian PP together with the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
Carlos Mazón indicated that “this is the land where change has begun in Spain. The Community has returned to offer new glories to Spain and start the new stage of political change”. Along these lines, he pointed out that in this campaign “we wanted to explain our change project to people, we had the desire and the need for that change and we have worked to make that change possible. A change that references and stars the PP ”.
“In this campaign they didn't want us to talk about Spain, it scared them. They came to say that we were less Valencian for saying that in Spain we also want to talk about Spain and we have talked about defending our interests. This is half the road" he announced to the militancy. And he defended that "we have carried out a campaign of responsibility with the Valencian Community, defending the interests of our land that are none other than ending too many years of sanchismo in Alicante, Valencia and Castellón ", has added.
Mazón affirmed that “our obligation does not end with executing the program. Our deep duty to our land is that there be a change in the government of Spain that defends, references and gives us the leading role and the need for majority attention that we deserve". "We are all proud to have a national president of the party who will meet with the Valencian Community for the good of Spain”.
The popular president made a balance of the electoral result in the three provinces. "This is our balance sheet and the springboard with which we are going to start the achievement of the other half of the road." Regarding the presentation of Teresa Ribera as number two for Madrid, he said that "the minister who has done the most damage to the Valencian Community is presenting herself together with Sánchez, the lethal duo, as a ticket to try the impossible."
"Since my obligation is to manage, supervise and defend the interests of the Valencian Community, we are going to defend the best project in taxation, in the investments that the Valencian Community deserves, in financing, water, the Mediterranean corridor... and that goes through the change with Feijóo in the government of Spain. That is his priority because we are his priority, ”he said in his speech.
He recalled that today the round of contacts with all the groups in Les Corts begins in the order decided by the citizens "out of institutional respect." "We started these negotiations with three messages that the citizens have sent us and we are going to comply: there has to be a government of change led by the PP that executes its project; it has to be a stable, effective, serious government that functions and does not fight every day, and thirdly, a government that defends the Valencian Community above all else. We are going to comply with it”.
