López-Chacarra wins his first tournament in Bangkok

The Spaniard Eugenio López-Chacarra won the tournament in Bangkok, on the LIV circuit, with a three-stroke advantage, which he completed with a total card of 19 strokes under par.

López-Chacarra, 22 years old, and just five months as a professional, scores his first title and pockets almost five million dollars as a prize, while the winner in Madrid, at the Spanish Open on the European circuit, will not reach the 300,000 euros.

The Spanish golfer signed a -3 in the third and final round, with two 'bogeys', the first in the tournament, and 5 'birdies', against which the American Patrick Reed, second to three strokes, could do nothing, nor the English Richard Bland and Paul Casey, third at four strokes.

The also Spanish Sergio García finished in the twentieth position, 11 shots from the winner, while the Mexicans Abrahan Ancer and Carlos Ortiz finished tenth and fifteenth, respectively.
