The singer-songwriter Josep Maria Llongueras Altimis (Sabadell, 1959- Bellver de Cinca, 2023), better known as Llongue, has died this Saturday, July 8, at his home in Bellver de Cinca (Huesca), at the age of 64, according to reports communicated his family on social networks. The man from Sabadell was known for having been the leader of La Madam.
The band is considered one of the first rock groups in Catalan, emerging in the 80s of the last century before the emergence of Sopa de Cabra, Sau, Sangtraït or Els Pets. After the dissolution of the group, Llongue continued his solo career, during which he published seven albums and made numerous collaborations with other artists.
