Life pauses on the Ter river

The Ter River appears wrapped on winter mornings in recent days in a frigid environment, with temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees below zero.

As seen in these images in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos, as it passes through Manlleu, in Osona, it seems that life has paused in the Ter river with the cold.

The icy environment seems to slow down the walks on the river walkway and even the movements of the birds gathered in this part of the Ter seem to be more rhythmic.

The footbridge on the Ter bridges a distance of about 70 meters that connects the Embarcadero and the Devesa. It has two levels, one higher and one lower that allows you to get closer to the water.

This project that brings the river closer to the residents of Manlleu arose precisely as a result of a participatory process. This walkway allows the river water to circulate and promotes the union and revitalization of the two areas of the city, which were separated by the Ter.

This walkway has become another tourist attraction on the Paseo del Ter, highlighting the Embarcadero area and also the Ter Museum.
