The protective entity SOS Animals Catalunya organizes a Holi party during the festival of Les Santes to raise funds for the entity. 'Animal Holi Fest' is a celebration for people, not animals.
Due to the drought, many of the festive activities that required water for their celebration have been cancelled, so the alternative is the celebration of colored clouds. The benefits of the act will go to the activities of the protector, which does not have official subsidies.
The chosen day is July 30 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Parc central Vell in the capital of Maresme, where the doors to the venue will open at 4:00 p.m. During the day, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the bags with the colors can be purchased at the same ticket office. They can also be purchased online.
During the celebration, music will enliven the event with the presence of DJ Manu Gomez Kizz, a resident of Barcelona, and DJ David Oleart, who will travel from Ibiza to his native region, Maresme, to collaborate in this charity initiative and will be in charge of closing the party.
