Lamine Yamal leaves the Spanish national team concentration

The Barcelona and Spanish national team player, Lamine Yamal, left the concentration in Las Rozas this Tuesday after being evaluated by the medical services of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

"He will not be able to participate in the next two qualifying matches for Euro 2024 that will pit Spain against Scotland in Seville and Norway in Oslo," the RFEF statement said.

The Spanish attacker arrived at the Las Rozas Soccer City this Monday with an injury to the iliac psoas in his left leg that he suffered on Sunday in the Barcelona match in Granada. The illness prevented him from exercising with the rest of his teammates.

The federative body knew in advance of the player's physical problems, but despite this they summoned him to be able to carry out a review through their doctors. The tests confirmed the injury and the player will return to Barcelona to rest and begin his recovery.
