King Felipe has asked to be an "example to follow" and has vindicated "loyalty to the Crown and to Spain" in a speech on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the Real Maestranza de Ronda on the same day that his father returns to Spain, specifically to Sanxenxo, to participate in sailing regattas, abandoning his self-exile in Abu Dhabi for a few days.
"You are active and beneficial institutions for society in this 21st century. Fortitude, capacity, competence and good judgment are needed to survive for centuries and be useful in each of them", said the head of state addressing the teachers at which he has recognized as "an example of loyalty to the Crown and service to Spain, showing a great ability to adapt to the different historical stages".
