Eight of the 30 murders have occurred in Andalusia, six in Catalonia, two in the Valencian Community, the Canary Islands, Galicia, Madrid, Castilla y León and the Basque Country. One in Aragon, another in Castilla La Mancha, as well as in La Rioja and Navarra.

The historical series of murders of women shows that in 2021, 31 women had already lost their lives as of July 28, one more than so far this year. In 2019, the figure was 39, eight more than now.

In 2003, when the sexist murders began to be counted, 45 femicides were registered in the first seven months of the year, the highest number up to now, together with the year 2007.
