The IESE MBA has been ranked number three in the world, while the same Esade program is ranked number thirty, according to the Global MBA Ranking 2023 published this Monday by the British newspaper Financial Times. "This position once again confirms IESE as one of the best business schools in the world," the educational institution explains. The North American Columbia and the French Insead lead the classification, with Harvard and Stanford tied for fourth.

IESE points out that one of the reasons for IESE's "excellent position in the ranking is the unique international experience that the program offers." "Participants live with classmates and teachers from different parts of the world and with different experiences and professional trajectories, which enriches networking and classroom discussions," they add.

Another of the factors that stands out in the institution are the opportunities for new professional opportunities offered by the IESE MBA, thanks to its career opportunities department and its committed network of alumni. The ranking highlights the solidity of IESE's career opportunities department (number 5 in the world) and the effectiveness of its alumni network (number 8 in the world).

For Marc Badia, IESE Associate Dean for the MBA and MiM programs: “The IESE MBA is a truly transformative experience where participants can develop professionally and personally. Although no ranking can capture the complete image of a school, this excellent result reflects part of the magic that lies behind the IESE MBA."

The Dean of Esade Business School, Joan Rodón, highlighted that the Esade Full Time MBA "remains at the top of the Financial Times 'Global MBA 2023' ranking, as number 1 in Europe (and number 11 in the world ) in the progression of the professional career of its students, as it happens with the salary increase of these, before and after completing the program (second in Europe), and the international experience of the same (third in the world)".

Other aspects that have also been especially valued by the Financial Times, are highlighted by ESADE, is the "diversity in the classroom (number 10 in Europe), which is currently made up of students of up to 43 nationalities, and the excellence of the Professional Careers service at Esade (number 9 in Europe), which maintains permanent contact with the business world". "Proof of the work of the latter is that 95% of the students of Esade's Full Time MBA are able to change their function, sector or country after graduation," adds Rodón.
