He burned the house he shared with his partner, in Almayate, belonging to the Malaga municipality of Vélez-Málaga, while she filed a complaint against him for gender violence in Torre del Mar. Then, he fled.
The National Police then opened an investigation after the incident and specified that it was a case of "extreme risk", so they were trying to locate and arrest the perpetrator as soon as possible. Finally, they managed to find him and he was detained.
The man disappeared after setting fire to the house where he lived until now with his partner. The flames, according to the newspaper Sur, have caused considerable material damage, although, fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
Agents of the National Police have confirmed today that they have already arrested the man, who is accused of an alleged crime of abuse in the family, damages/fires and animal abuse.
