HArquitectes and the Balearic Islands dominate the list of finalists for the FAD award

Two works by HArquitectes and two built in the Balearic Islands are among the nine finalist projects in the architecture category of the 2023 FAD Awards, which will be awarded in October.

HArquitectes and the Balearic Islands dominate the list of finalists for the FAD award

Two works by HArquitectes and two built in the Balearic Islands are among the nine finalist projects in the architecture category of the 2023 FAD Awards, which will be awarded in October. Developments of social housing, private homes, a library and a school are among the finalists, whose authors are around 50 years old.

The selection also highlights the presence of two works in the Balearic Islands: the 43 Raw Rooms social housing, work by Marta Peris and José Toral in Ibiza, and Ca Na Catalina i Joan, by TEd'A arquitectes, in Llubí.

The rest of the finalists are the García Márquez Library, from the Madrid team SUMA arquitectura, in Barcelona; the Colegio Reggio, in Madrid, by Andrés Jaque; the House PS-50, by Langarita and Navarro, in Tarifa; the House-Workshop at the Pilosa Guard, in Pujalt, by labaula architects; and House 0006, in Vilafranca del Penedès, by Roger Maranges.
