George Floyd's brother watching Derek Chauvin Put in handcuffs:'He had it Much Simpler'

"He did not die in vain," among George Floyd's brothers told"GMA."

Among George Floyd's brothers claims that he was struck seeing former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin place his hands behind his back to be put into handcuffs later the guilty verdicts were also read.

Since Philonise Floyd awaited the verdict,'' he explained,"Inside that court I flew for like 30 minutes -- as it took 30 minutes to the jurors and the judge to emerge."

He explained Chauvin's certainty"makes us more happy knowing his lifetime, it mattered and that he did not die in vain."

Chauvin was convicted Tuesday on all counts in relation to George Floyd's departure: second-degree accidental murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

Philonise Floyd stated his brother's departure"made people recognize that people's lives thing."

"All around the globe, not only in Minneapolis," he explained,"individuals, they marched for himprotested for him"

And I believe that we'll have the ability to cement his legacy since he did just that -- he changed the entire world," Philonise Floyd explained. "He attracted everybody across this nation together for a single purpose which was to ensure these officers be held liable."

Floyd family attorney Ben Crump added "GMA" he expects this situation sets a precedent"in which justice and liberty for all" applies"to most Americans."

Crump said death the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act is another step"to protect against some of those unnecessary killings."

Philonise Floyd stated,"I am just happy that we'll have the chance to cement his legacy, and the George Floyd Policing Act is going to be passed, since people's blood is on this invoice. And these individuals, they will need to have justice to what happened to their families"

In terms of another three officers charged in relation to George Floyd's departure, Philonise Floyd added ABC's"The View" Wednesday,"They have to be held liable, as, if the roles had been reversed, then that is what could happen to me"

"Whenever you commit a crime, all men and women that are there, if be held liable," he explained. "They should be wrapped up together because my brother is doing time at the floor, and all of them have to do time in a mobile."
