Gaddex, the startup that connects company and workforce

The founders of Gaddex have different professional experiences, but they all realized the same reality: the benefits of good relations between a company's employees (fewer sick leave, greater productivity, more motivation and creativity...). During the Covid pandemic, which locked many workers in their homes, this reality became even more evident. After thinking about the project a lot, Alejandro Paloma Garcia, Àlex Font Giovannini and Ignacio Barquero founded the startup Gaddex in May 2020. After half a year, a fourth founding partner, Víctor Vicente Sánchez, joined the project as a technology expert. .

“We are an all-in-one platform for all events related to a company, from contacting suppliers to managing tickets,” explains Paloma. “We save the company time and money, we help them promote the events and, with them, we contribute to uniting the teams,” adds the co-founder. Based in Barcelona, the clients of this startup that employs a dozen people are multinationals such as Nestlé, Bayer, PepsiCo or Bimbo. They work for their Spanish subsidiaries, but the entrepreneurs aspire to be a global company and “help companies on an international scale,” says Font.

To achieve their goal of being global, the co-founders have just closed a financing round of 760,000 euros, between private capital and an Enisa loan. Among the investors, Startup Wise Guys, Juanjo Mostazo (founder of Homa), Nacho Travesí (cofounder of Cobee), David Tomás (founder of Cyberclick) and Jorge Bestard (Canva) stand out. They also have the help of the Startup Wise Guys business accelerator. In a first round they had already raised 430,000 euros. The startup's turnover is still incipient, at 130,000 euros.
