The Vora Ter trail, which basically runs through the region of Osona, is part of the GR 210 long-distance trail. In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia, we have made this photographic report of the section between Manlleu and Roda de Ter.
The itinerary crosses old textile colonies, riverside forests, mid-mountain forests, populations and agricultural and industrial spaces, places that have in common the ancestral use of the river.
If done in full, the Vora Ter will take us from Torelló to Manlleu, a distance of 20 km, although, if we continue, we will link the high mountain area of Ulldeter with the Costa Brava in Torroella de Montgrí, crossing natural areas of the sea , plain and mountain.
This trail was born in 2002 promoted by the Ter Defense Group with the aim of bringing people closer to the river, its landscapes, its problems and the opportunities to enjoy a place that must be taken care of.
The purpose of the Vora Ter is also to monitor the Ter from its source in the eastern Pyrenees to its mouth in the Mediterranean.
