Today I would like to show in La Vanguardia Readers' Photos some images taken in Ullastret, a town that is eight minutes from the capital of the region to which it belongs, Baix Empordà.
Once there we will realize that it has some medieval structures. like its wall. Already within these, we can find very beautiful stone houses, narrow streets, charming corners, decorated with flowers, colored doors, a beautiful church, large squares...
Ullastret is one of those towns that no matter how much they explain it to you, you will never be able to understand how beautiful it is until you see it with your own eyes.
This is a town that not only stands out for its great monuments, works and history, since, if this town has one thing, it is that every small detail is taken care of here.
The houses are in good condition, there is no color of the flowers that stands out above the others. This is a small town, surrounded by extensive agricultural areas, where you can enjoy a chat in a bar or its silence or the kindness of its neighbors.
Ullastret is a town that has known how to move so as not to be left behind. It has parking, it has a school, bars and restaurants and some small local shops, among some accommodations for tourists. A place where you would want to spend your vacation.
