During these Christmas holidays, many towns represent living nativity scenes. One of them is Els Prats de Rei, in Alta Anoia, where you can go see it on January 1, 6 and 7, 2024.
A large part of the people participate in this nativity scene, either to act in the performance or to set up all the scenarios and elements, which I have portrayed in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos before the start of the performances.
Precisely, these decorations that we can find in the center of town will leave us with our mouths open both for their quality and detail.
The sets and the history that are represented aim to transport you to more than 2,000 years ago to ancient Palestine through a living manger that also stands out for being the only one in Catalonia that has an original soundtrack and the actors speak out loud.
And, without a doubt, this town can show muscle with a nativity scene where a large part of the town participates, very original decorations on the buildings and exclusive music.
And just having seen the level of the sets, I am very clear that the representation will not be less.
