Unexpected and spectacular scene in the Pedralbes monastery in Barcelona, where there has been a fight between two ducks, known as Dominante and Precioso, to mate with the famous Cuaca, the sad little duck that never manages to have offspring.
In recent weeks there had already been a first clash when a new male arrived at the monastery, which they called Dominant, very bossy and bully, so much so that he had managed to separate the calm Precious from his partner, Cuaca.
A few days ago, the duckling was saddened again because he saw again how, from his eggs, no duckling had been born. She had tried it with Precious before the arrival of Dominant, who had then managed to separate her from her partner and remain as a male.
But, after a few days and unexpectedly, Precious has returned and has fought, raging, against Dominante, whom he has managed to defeat and recover Cuaca again.
The duck is now better with its partner, but the scene of the relentless fight between the two male ducks surprised the visitors to the Pedralbes monastery museum, who witnessed a scene worthy of National Geographic, as can be seen in Las Fotos de The Readers of La Vanguardia.
