Carnival is just around the corner and many towns are already warming up to kick off a weekend of costumes, music and a lot of rhythm. Perhaps that is why, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria they have organized a particular canine carnival where the dogs are dressed up with their owners as anything.
This is a costume contest that has been very successful and has become an opportunity to spend a day with the family. The winner wins a thousand euros in food, a succulent prize that the dog and his owner win, who will forget about buying dog food for a few months.
In this year's edition, the winner was Arepa, Rosmi Quesada's dog who no longer hesitates to participate in the next carnival again.
