After two years of difficulty due to a lack of components and delays in deliveries, it seems that the caravanning sector is recovering. The brands are ready to make a splash in a new edition of the International Caravaning Show, which will open its doors from October 7 to 15 at the Gran Vía venue of the Fira de Barcelona. This year, defined by the boom in camper culture and vacations on wheels, is reflected in the total commitment of the main producers of leisure vehicles, accessories and services linked to this hobby.

From the Fira de Barcelona, organizer of the event with the collaboration of Aseicar (the Spanish Association of Caravaning Industry and Commerce) and Gremcar (the Guild of Caravaning Entrepreneurs of Catalonia), they anticipate this 2023 as one of the largest events. attendance in recent times.

For the first time since its creation, the International Caravaning Show will fill pavilions 3, 4 and 5, once again claiming the position of leader and epicenter of launches, innovative proposals and commercial show. Both companies and enthusiasts will have a fantastic meeting place to discover the most recent additions in the segment of motorhomes, campers, caravans, modules, tent trailers and bungalows.

The success of the camper segment is unstoppable, which is why it deserves to occupy almost its entirety in Hall 5, along with the offers linked to the camping and accessories sector. Additionally, and as is customary at the International Caravaning Show, new market trends can be explored such as the tiny house area, a sector that is anticipated to have notable growth in the coming years.

As stated by the Fira, a full number of manufacturers have signed and, so far, have guaranteed their attendance: Adria, Benimar, Caravelair, Carthago, Comanche, Concorde, Dethleffs, Dreamer, Elnagh, Fendt, Frankia, Giottiline, Globecar, Hymer, Knaus, Illusion, Iveco, Laika, Mc Louis, Pilote, Rimor, Roller Team and Westfalia, in addition to automotive companies such as Toyota, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Volkswagen.

There will also be no shortage of protagonists in the secondary industry that surrounds traveling with the house in tow. Beyond leisure vehicles, we will find proposals within the framework of camping, such as awnings, awnings and outdoor equipment, but also tourist options, campsites, representatives of municipalities, rental companies and endless opportunities to explore.

If there is one thing that characterizes the International Caravaning Fair, it is its playful and family side, which allows everyone to discover a world of fun. The visitor will learn about the latest developments in the sector, but will also enjoy spaces designed for entertainment or training.

As Susana Colom, president of the Show and of Gremcar, presents it: "visitors will be able to live a complete experience that will allow them to get to know the new vehicles of 2024, discover new accommodation, share routes and trips, as well as enjoy a varied gastronomic offer and family proposals".

This immersion in the world of caravanning will lead the visitor to connect with a lifestyle that goes beyond the camper, caravan or motorhome. To achieve this trip, without moving the user from the Fira, the organization will continue to focus on areas that are divided into experiences for all ages and all types of recreational vehicles, placing special emphasis on the camper segment.

So that no one gets bored during the show day, the Fira has divided the spaces into the themes that are trending this year:
