Cádiz will go to ordinary justice for the 'Elche case' after the refusal of the TAD

Cádiz has announced this Saturday that it will go to ordinary justice for the resolution contrary to its interests in the 'Elche case'. The Administrative Court of Sport (TAD), notified the Cádiz club of a resolution by virtue of which it agreed to reject the appeal filed by this entity, against the Resolution of the Appeals Committee of the RFEF dated February 9, 2023, understanding that the request for repetition by the Cádiz-Elche match "lacks a disciplinary nature, which prevents it from being able to rule on the merits of the matter," the Andalusian club announced in a statement.

The legal services of Cádiz are "analyzing the most convenient legal and procedural channel to file a complaint before the Ordinary Jurisdiction," the statement added.

Cádiz filed an appeal this week before the TAD to request the challenge of the match of day 17 played against Elche (1-1), last January at the Nuevo Mirandilla, and wants it to be partially repeated, considering the decision "negligent". refereeing action, "specifically by the referees of the VOR Room", who conceded their goal to the Elche team offside in the 81st minute.

For this reason, after receiving a negative resolution from the Appeals Committee, he complained to the TAD, even requesting the temporary suspension of the National League Championship as a precautionary measure until the resolution of the file, after having declared the disciplinary bodies of the RFEF "incompetent" over the party challenge request.

In its letter, Cádiz insisted that the error is "manifest" and "serious" and that "potentially irreparable damage" is derived from it for its team.
