Catalonia will experience a sunny Sant Jordi with rain only in the Pyrenees and Empordà

The Catalan Meteorological Service predicts that tomorrow Sunday, Sant Jordi's Day, Catalonia will enjoy a sunny day with low clouds on the coast and rain only in the high Pyrenees and Empordà from midday.

This forecast contrasts with the heavy hailstorm that fell on the Catalan capital last year, which caused the fall of tents on Paseo de Gracia and on the April Fair grounds with a balance of one less seriously injured person and four more. with minor injuries and numerous damages.

Meteocat has indicated this Saturday that another front will cross Catalonia tomorrow, but already weakened, which will leave "a little" of rain in the Catalan High Pyrenees and in the Alt Empordà region of Girona.

Late in the day and in the early hours of the night, there could be very weak and scattered rain in the rest of the northern third regions. The temperatures will be lower at dawn but the maximum will be higher than today, with a general forecast of noon with a mild west wind.

In the last hours of this Saturday, Meteocat indicates, another weakened front is also dropping rain in the extreme south-west of Catalonia and in the Pyrenees, where it has dropped twenty liters per square meter at some point. This rain, however, will not reach the coastal regions of Barcelona and Girona.
