Carlos Santana suspends six concerts of his tour after fainting in his last show

Rest for Carlos Santana. The legendary guitarist has had to suspend six concerts of his Miraculous Supernatural 2022 tour in the United States after fainting at his last show, in Michigan.

In a statement through Santana's Facebook page, the guitarist's representative, Michael Vrionis, explains that they have made the decision to postpone the next six concerts of the Miraculous Supernatural 2022 tour in accordance with medical recommendations, "out of an abundance of caution for the artist's health.

"The doctors have recommended that Santana rest so that she can fully recover," adds Vrionis in the same message. "Santana deeply regrets having to postpone these shows, but his health is his main concern. He is already looking forward to seeing all of his fans soon," he adds.

In fact, in this same statement his team assures that "Carlos is improving and is eager to jump back on stage, he just needs a little rest."

Specifically, the six postponed concerts and for which new dates will be sought are those that Santana had to celebrate in Noblesville (Indiana), Cincinnati (Ohio), Milwaukee (Wisconsin), Rogers (Arkansas), Dallas and Woodlands (Texas) .

Last Tuesday, July 5, Santana vanished on stage at the Pine Knob Music Theater in Clarkston, Michigan, 40 minutes after the start of the show. He had to be removed on a stretcher.

Hours later, Santana himself, 74, took it upon himself to reassure his followers by explaining that his fainting was due to dehydration and forgetting to eat during the hours before the concert.
