Bellingham, serious doubt to play against Braga

Jude Bellingham underwent medical tests this morning that have shown that the Englishman does not have a serious injury, but that he did suffer a shoulder dislocation against Rayo that has left the area very sore. The doctors and Ancelotti will assess tomorrow, Tuesday, whether he is available to play on Wednesday against Braga in the Champions League, but the feeling right now is that it is better for him to rest and not force himself to try to get to Saturday's match against Valencia, also in the Bernabéu.

The player was injured against Rayo in the tenth minute after falling badly and damaging his left shoulder. After being treated for a few minutes on the sideline, he returned to the game and at half-time they put a bandage on him, which had to be loosened during the second half. The Englishman's performance in the match was lower than usual.

Bellingham is being the player of the season, with thirteen goals in fourteen games. Against Rayo Bellingham he ended up as unhinged as the rest of his teammates and protested several times to the referee, Martínez Munera, even in the locker room tunnel, complaining about the rival team's tackles.

The one who will not be safe against Braga or Valencia is Dani Ceballos. The player already touches the ball but is coming off two muscle injuries this season and it seems that Ancelotti will wait until after the international break for him to return to a call-up. Mendy will be there on Wednesday, fully recovered from the overload he suffered in the classic.
