Being a woman, the video game

I don't know if there is a video game about being a woman. I imagine it like this (I avoid gamer language): if she is white and western, she comes from the same point as the white western man. If not, he will do it a few meters behind, or later, or he will not be able to participate directly. If he is from a family with resources, he has some tools that, in certain situations, will allow him to move faster. Be that as it may, the woman carries a backpack that the man does not, and that will hinder her career.

In the backpack he carries some stones from the beginning. For example, that of the masculine gaze, which will make her feel more or less valued depending on the desire she arouses. Also judged. When it is not desirable, it becomes contemptible or invisible, and deserves nothing. When she doesn't respond to the desire she provokes, she's ungrateful: I called you pretty, smile at me and don't get mad, you look horrible; I have touched your ass because it is appetizing, it has been a friendly caress even though we are not friends; I offered you a job and you owe me something in return; If I have managed to conquer you, you are mine. That stone will get bigger and bigger, and at one point or another, someone will use it to hit the woman who is carrying it.

Other heavy stones are to blame. And on each screen – from childhood, but especially from adolescence – the woman will add a new one to her backpack. For being cool or for not having children or for being a bad mother or for not performing or for not being as expected.

There are apparently funny screens that become threatening for women. Doing the same as the man – having a good time – she can end up surrounded by strangers who do whatever they want with her body. And on top of that they will say that he was spoiled, that he already knew where he was getting into and what to expect. Always guilty, even being a victim.

It would be nice if the men played a couple of games of the video game. They would not understand why, by acting as usual, they do not receive the same points as before. They would not be applauded or rewarded for taking care of the housework, nor for being understanding, and they would be paid less at work. They would have less time and energy to solve more things. And when they reached the screen called the glass ceiling, they couldn't go any further, no matter how hard they tried. Game over.
