Barça without filming beats a combative Baxi Manresa

Spectacle and emotion that will not be forgotten. The final of the Catalan Lliga went far beyond what could be expected. Barça and Baxi Manresa were up to the task to raise the cache of this title, which the Blaugrana won thanks to a commendable effort. Their 24th Catalan League was greatly celebrated by Grimau's team after what they suffered during a match in which they lost by 13 points. In the end, the talent of Laprovittola and Satoransky was stronger than the spectacular performance of Badio, a Barça youth player on loan at Manresa, author of 25 points.

A gale called Baxi passed over Barça at the start that showed the brewing moment for both teams. With the recently arrived Spanish internationals, the Blaugrana are trying to look like what they should be but time has not allowed them. Opposite, Pedro Martínez's men, as happened against Joventut, are a team that when it smells blood does not stop shaking its prey. It was difficult for them to open a gap in the first quarter, but the lack of defensive intensity and the poor percentages in the Blaugrana's triple made their problems worse in the second. At Manresa, the best was already Badio, with 12 points at halftime. The Senegalese gave a real marterclass in direction, with brilliant passes and impossible penetrations. He was supported at a high level by Taylor with four triples (12) and Vaulet. More defensive intensity than his rival and a very high pace to run as much as possible fired Pedro Martínez's team at halftime (34-47).

Barça's reaction was furious and reminded of what happened in the semifinal against Girona. Grimau adjusted the defense and his team increased the pace in all facets of the game. He increased the speed in circulation, also in the defensive transition. The drive of Joel Parra and the direction of Satoransky were key to this reaction, with six points in this section. In seven minutes, the partial was 18-6. Now it was Manresa that was struggling on the court, with 0 of 10 in triples in the third quarter and with a total inability to run and be happy. Barça took advantage of this disconnection to take the lead thanks to two consecutive triples (60-54). Abrines continued to increase the pace, with his third triple and despite the efforts of Pedro Martínez, his team could not find the intensity in defense. Disabled in attack and out of balance at the back, in the third quarter they conceded a run of 32-11 (66-58).

In the last quarter the Bages team's feelings did not improve, but Barça also forgot its charm. The match lost spark and the distance was maintained. Badio appeared there to give a new opportunity to Martínez's team, highly supported by Barris Nord de Lleida. A triple of his was seconded by Taylor and immediately faith returned to the Manresans (73-69). On the back of its two stars, who scored 40 points between them, Baxi tied the game in the last minute (79-79). Laprovittola appeared there to assist Vesely and in the last play of the game Badio's shot came out of time
