Barça, forced to beat Olympiacos in Athens

Barça landed this Monday in Athens and headed directly to the Peace and Friendship Pavilion to make contact with the court that will decide their future in this Euroleague. After losing the home court factor by losing in the first game of their playoff series, the Blaugrana need to win at least one of the two games they have scheduled this week at the home of Olympiacos to keep their aspirations of playing in the final four in Berlin alive.

Their first attempt will come this Tuesday (8:30 p.m.), just two days after falling with a crash in Andorra in the Endesa League while the Greeks had no commitment and were able to rest. “It is always better to arrive without having played or having won, but it is what it is and we face it with a lot of confidence. We have had a great Euroleague until today,” Roger Grimau clarified after the session. “We face a war against a team we respect a lot. We have to leave everything else behind and focus only on this game, it's going to be hell,” said Tomas Satoransky, remembering the playoff series that pitted both teams in 2015 and from which the Greeks emerged victorious.
