Baqueira Beret is working to open between 25 and 30 kilometers of slopes on November 25

The ski resort of Val d'Aran and Valls d'Àneu, Baqueira Beret, is working hard to be able to open between 25 and 30 kilometers of ski slopes next Saturday, November 25.

This was announced this Wednesday in Torregrossa (Lleida) by the director of the complex, Xavi Ubeira, after between 30 and 35 centimeters of new snow have fallen in the area in the last few hours.

It is the first base of snow, since the heat of the last few days and the lack of precipitation still kept the landscape green and brown.

Ubeira has said that the company faces the season with "optimism", despite the drought and the cut in subsidies for the production of artificial snow announced a few days ago by the Government.

The station has made an investment of around 13 million euros this year and hopes to be able to open until April.
