Balloons and trains with the snow-capped Puigmal in spring as a backdrop. These images for Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia have been captured from Malla, in Osona, more than 60 kilometers away.
El Puigmal, in Alta Cerdanya, is the second highest mountain in the province of Girona, with 2914 meters, and is located on the border between Spain and France.
In this case, the images have been captured from the Osona region, more than 60 kilometers away, which provides a broad perspective.
Located between the municipalities of Queralbs (Ripollès) and Err (Alta Cerdanya, Eastern Pyrenees), the Puigmal is the highest of the peaks that make up the so-called Gran Olla that surrounds the Vall de Núria.
In the photographs we can see the fields of La Plana in the foreground and, in the background, the Puigmal.
