Awards season continues. Next Sunday, February 19, the Royal Festival Hall of the Southbank Center in London will host the 2023 British Academy Film Awards, popularly known as the BAFTA Awards, in its 76th version. After announcing the nominees in mid- January, this week we will be able to witness the award ceremony.
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards will take place at 8:00 p.m. (Spanish time) on Sunday, and will be broadcast mainly on BBC iPlayer. This year they have a novelty, since the ceremony will also be broadcast on the official social networks of the BAFTAs on their Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.
The evening will be presented by Richard E. Grant and Alison Hammond, who will be in charge of the ceremony where All Quiet on the Front could win up to fourteen awards. In addition, the films Almas en banshee by Inisherin and Everything at once everywhere are part of the favourites, aspiring to ten statuettes each.
