Arrimadas maintains that the Government is worsening the problem of inflation

The leader of Ciudadanos has accused the Government of worsening the problem of inflation, "the worst tax that families can suffer", in her speech in the debate on the state of the nation.

Arrimadas, who has vindicated the liberal character of his party, has affirmed that Sánchez took out “the manual of the good populist” in the first session of the debate. “The measures that he presented yesterday are not what the Spaniards need, but what you need to get out of this debate. It is the most expensive electoral campaign in history.”

“You personally, what effort do you make? -Arrimadas has wondered- What advisers have you removed? Which friend of yours have you stopped having plugged in? Because you ask for sacrifices from the citizens but you do not make any”.

Arrimadas has accused the Government of closing its eyes to reality and has given as an example the fact that Sánchez has renounced nuclear energy. He does not question the option for renewable energy, but he does consider that, while it is not developed, nuclear cannot be dispensed with.

The leader of Ciudadanos has reproached the Government for the serious problems of young people in Spain. A generation that has suffered two serious crises: “few have suffered so much in such a short time”, she underlined. Her salary has risen 3% but pensions have risen 40%, she has stated. “This disproportion is unsustainable” she has concluded.

Then Arrimadas has attacked all public officials "placed" by Moncloa. A long list in which he has included from the president of the CIS or the State Attorney General.

Finally, the leader of Ciudadanos has questioned the meeting on Friday with the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonés. A meeting with those who "humiliate, the criminals, the condemned, the rebellious... and he does it without raising an eyebrow," she-she maintained. You have no moral qualms for you."

In the reply, the President of the Government regretted that Arrimadas had gotten the impression that the Government had not been sensitive to the problems of the Spanish. "You can criticize us for many things, but not that we are not making reforms."

"His argument -explained Sánchez- is that the excess of income from the State does not revert to the citizens, but nevertheless he does not want the excess of profits from the private sector to be used". Sánchez rejected the first of the ideas. “Tomorrow, Thursday, the package of measures that is financed with that excess income will be debated.”

Sánchez has judged Arrimadas' position on the use of nuclear energy inexplicable and has reminded him that the timetable for closing the plants has been agreed with the energy companies while recalling the difficulties that France is experiencing in maintaining its nuclear power plants themselves.

In conclusion, the President of the Government in his reply to Arrimadas has defended his "social democratic programme" in opposition to the "neoliberal" program which, in his opinion, defends a "minority party" such as Ciudadanos.
