The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested two people responsible for a marijuana plantation located in a burned flat in Hospitalet de Llobregat. These are two men aged 32 and 39, rented from the property, accused of a crime against public health and a crime of electric power fraud.
The arrest occurred as a result of the fire that broke out in an attic in the Sant Josep neighborhood. Everything indicates that it originated from a fraudulent connection to the electrical network.
Once the firefighters put out the fire, the investigators located the two marijuana plantations that were inside the house.
The rapid action of the emergency services avoided tragic consequences for the rest of the houses in the block. In the burned house, 540 marijuana buds were found in small pots, completely burned. In addition, in another room of the same house, the researchers located another 165 plants.
The two located plantations had all the necessary infrastructure for their cultivation, fans, electricity, reactors, air conditioners, fans and fertilizers.
