Today at dawn on the beach of Gavà, in the Baix Llobregat, I was able to photograph this spectacular arch of fog over the waters of the Mediterranean for the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia.
It is very difficult to capture this phenomenon in the sea, but it has been possible, as can be seen in the image. Furthermore, in the snapshot we see the plane passing under the arch.
As the early morning fog disperses, this arch sometimes forms. In reality, this phenomenon is like a rainbow but white.
The proximity of El Prat airport to Gavà beach means that the plane is also the protagonist of the photograph and passes just at the moment when the arc of fog was seen.
Meteorological phenomena and optical effects often go hand in hand to offer us spectacular images. And dawn is an ideal time to capture these moments.
