Alcampo launches a job offer to cover 940 positions in the Christmas campaign. The supermarket chain is looking for staff to replace, sell, serve counters and cashiers.
Most of the positions to be filled are in Madrid and Andalusia, with 150 each, followed by a hundred in Galicia, Catalonia and the Basque Country; about 60-70 in Aragon and the Canary Islands; 50 in the Valencian Community; 30 in Navarra, Castilla y León and Asturias and about 20 in both La Rioja and Castilla-La Mancha, the Balearic Islands and Murcia.
As stated in the Christmas job offer, the functions that would be covered are the preparation, replacement and sale of products; handling, cutting and processing of raw materials; payment; Shelf cleaning and customer assistance. Currently the group has 307 points of sale and 53 gas stations, with 20,000 employees.
Candidates are asked for "availability to work morning and evening shifts, full-time, part-time, or weekends." In certain positions for fresh products, the food handler card will be required.
In exchange, continuous training is offered, possible flexible remuneration, discounts at the group's stores and gas stations, access to share and profit distribution plans, and volunteer days. The contracts are temporary.
