National Police agents have arrested a woman in Ibiza for allegedly continuously attacking her minor son.
As reported by the Police this Sunday in a press release, last Thursday the agents arrested this person as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of domestic violence against his minor son.
The complaint was received from the Ibiza Education area. It alerted them to a possible case of child abuse observed in a school in the municipality of Ibiza where the minor attended. There it was observed that he repeatedly went to school with various injuries and low mood, and this was not a one-time event.
Apparently the injuries to the minor were caused by the mother as punishment, even using broomsticks and other objects.
Given the reported events, UFAM agents of the National Police in Ibiza took charge of the investigation, immediately guaranteeing the protection of the minor who was left under the care of a shelter, continuing with the efforts to clarify the facts.
The mother was located and the agents proceeded to arrest her as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of abuse in the family. The detainee has been brought to justice.
