A 28-year-old woman has given birth to a girl while driving in a car through the city of Valencia. According to sources from the Ministry of Health, the birth took place shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday, in the vicinity of the Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo.
The woman's partner stopped the car and called a well-known doctor, who happened to be in the area and assisted the woman in labor, who gave birth to a girl.
When assistance from the Urgent Medical Service (SAMU) arrived, the woman was fine after a quick and uncomplicated delivery.
The CICU also received the alert and, when the health media appeared in front of the premises at 9:56 p.m., the woman had already given birth.
The SAMU toilets cut the umbilical cord and transferred the woman and her baby to Hospital La Fe. Both are well, according to the same sources.
