The Civil Guard has arrested this Tuesday the alleged perpetrator of the fatal stabbing of a 49-year-old woman in Dalías (Almería) in circumstances that are under investigation.
According to sources from 112 Andalucía have indicated to EFE, the events occurred around 6:45 p.m., when several calls have alerted that the victim had been attacked by a knife on public roads, in the Olmo de Dalías square, near the Rambla de Gracia.
Members of the Local Police, Civil Guard and health workers from 061 have been mobilized to the place, who have only been able to certify the death of the woman, since according to EFE health sources, the assaulted person died before the medical teams arrived. despite the fact that cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers have been performed on him.
For their part, sources from the Almería Command have informed EFE that the alleged perpetrator of the fatal attack has been arrested around 8:30 p.m. and that the circumstances in which the death occurred are being investigated, although rules out that it is a case of gender violence.
Sources close to the investigation have specified that the arrested man is 55 years old and they have explained that he had quarrels with the woman he allegedly killed, whom he knew because she was a client of the bar that the victim ran in Dalías.
Neighbors of the town have indicated to EFE that the man would have a restraining order for the victim, as well as that he would have been provisionally imprisoned for trying to burn the house of the deceased. The death, they point out, occurred when the victim went to a birthday with her family.
For his part, the mayor of Dalías, Francisco Lirola, has assured EFE that the local government is "very attentive" to the relatives of the victim, and has specified that the municipal spokesmen will meet to make an institutional declaration of condemnation and mourning .
It has corroborated that the deceased and the detainee did not have "a personal relationship", and has asserted that the victim's family is "well known and loved", since "they are always collaborating in all the things that are done in the town ".
