A 33-year-old woman has filed a complaint with the Mossos d'Esquadra for allegedly having been raped after being drugged. According to the complaint, the events date back to May 26 in the capital of Anoia. The young woman went to a party with a friend and they toured several establishments until they reached a nightclub located in the Rec neighborhood.
According to the complaint, when they arrived at the discotheque, the two friends met an acquaintance who was outside the party with a boy. At an “indeterminate moment of the night”, the alleged victim's friend left the nightclub and she stayed with the acquaintance and the boy. Around six in the morning the three of them walked from the disco and the boy invited them to go up to his house to have a drink.
On the floor, the complainant recounts that her acquaintance received a call for which she had to leave, leaving her alone with the boy. He offered her a beer and, after drinking it, she doesn't remember going any further.
According to the account of the facts, the young woman woke up at 11 in the morning in a bed and not on the sofa where she had been drinking beer. She assures that she was very scared because she did not understand what she was doing there. In addition, she began to realize that she was wearing her underwear down and began to notice "a lot of discomfort" in her genital area.
Realizing the situation, the young woman got dressed and ran from the home. Once she was outside, she called her acquaintance from the night before, with whom she had been in the apartment of the alleged attacker, but she ignored what happened. The young woman then became “fully aware” that she had been sexually assaulted without her consent by something the boy put in her drink.
