A three-year-old girl died this Tuesday after falling from the balcony of a third floor in a building in the Alicante town of La Vila Joiosa.
Police and Civil Guard sources have reported that the event occurred around 1 p.m. and that the minor died at the La Vila Hospital, from where it was planned to transfer her to the General of Alicante in a medical helicopter.
The Emergency Information and Coordination Center (Cicu) has explained that a Samu unit and a medical helicopter have been mobilized, and that the medical services had tried to revive the minor, who finally died.
The Judicial Police of the Civil Guard has already taken charge of the investigation of this event, which occurred in a building in the Costera Pastor neighborhood, and right now social and health personnel are providing psychological help to the family members.
