Two men have been arrested in Barcelona on suspicion of stealing a gold watch valued at around 70,000 euros after one of them managed to break the rubber strap with his teeth.

The Urban Guard has reported that the arrest was carried out on Friday in the area of ​​the Born in Barcelona, ​​where some plain-clothes agents of the local police observed how the robbery was perpetrated with violence.

According to the Urban Guard, one of the detainees intercepted the victim while the second seized the watch after breaking the rubber strap with his mouth.

On May 16, the Mossos d'Esquadra dismantled a criminal group in Barcelona dedicated to violent robberies of luxury watches with the arrest of seven people -six men and one woman between 24 and 39 years old-, who accumulate 72 Police records for similar acts committed in different parts of Spain and in cities in France and Germany, and whose victims were tourists, with a high economic-social appearance, who visited the center of Barcelona.
