A motorcyclist died this Wednesday in a collision with a passenger car on the AP-7 in El Papiol in the direction of Tarragona, as reported by the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT).
The accident has caused queues of 10 kilometers southwards to Cerdanyola del Vallès and has forced only one lane to be left open.
The accident occurred at 11:24 in the morning this Wednesday at kilometer 161.5 towards Tarragona.
As a result of the incident, four patrols of the Mossos d'Esquadra, three units of the Generalitat Fire Brigade and two units and the medical helicopter of the Medical Emergency System (SEM) were activated.
