A 33-year-old man was seriously injured this morning in Madrid due to an attack with a knife on Antonio López Street, number 88, in the Carabanchel district, Madrid Emergency sources have reported.
The Samur Civil Protection doctors transported to the scene treated the injured man, who had a low level of consciousness, for a penetrating wound in his back caused by an attack with a knife in the area of the left hemithorax.
A chest tube was placed for drainage, allowing half a liter of blood to be extracted and once stabilized, he was transferred to the Gregorio Marañón Hospital, where he was admitted with a serious prognosis. The National Police is investigating the causes of the event.
