A man died on Sunday afternoon in a fire that started in his single-family home located in the municipality of Solivella (Tarragona), the Generalitat Firefighters reported this Monday.
The emergency services received the notification at 6:49 p.m. yesterday that a fire had broken out in a house on Abadia Vella street in Solivella.
The firefighters who worked to extinguish the fire found the lifeless body of a man in a room on the first floor of this single-family home.
The fire also completely burned the kitchen and dining room.
Four ground crews of firefighters worked at the scene of the accident, as well as three units of the Medical Emergency System (SEM) and three patrols of the Mossos d'Esquadra, which have taken charge of the investigation.
