A man was killed this afternoon in a shooting that occurred on Rambla Prim in Barcelona shortly after five in the afternoon. The area is very close to the Parc del Fòrum, where the penultimate day of the Barcelona April Fair is held. The Mossos d'Esquadra are searching for the shooter, who managed to flee the scene in the first instance. The agents, who have quickly cordoned off the area, have not offered any further information about the circumstances of the incident.
The man was still alive when the members of the Emergency Medical System (SEM) arrived at the scene, but they were unable to do anything to save his life.
It is the second violent death recorded this week in Barcelona. Last Wednesday, May 1, another man died as a result of an attack that occurred in the Barceloneta neighborhood.
