A man dies and two others are injured in a fight in Alicante

A 52-year-old man has died and two others have been injured during a brawl with bladed weapons that took place in Alicante and that has ended with the arrest of three men between the ages of 25 and 35, accused of the crimes of homicide and injuries.

The National Police has explained that the other two injured, of Spanish and Colombian nationality, have already been discharged, while the defendants will remain in police stations until they are brought before the courts.

The event occurred in the vicinity of the José Rico Pérez stadium in Alicante at around 5:30 p.m., the police force has reported, stating that the deceased was a Spanish national and that when the agents arrived he was unconscious on the ground with serious head injuries.

The agents have notified the health services, who have tried to save his life without success, although they have been able to help the other two men, who have been transferred to the General Hospital of Alicante, also with bleeding wounds on the face and extremities, and where after being treated they have been discharged from hospital.

The three young people between the ages of 25 and 35 have been arrested at the scene of the events and officers of the Judicial Police and Scientific Police of the Provincial Police Station of Alicante have traveled to the scene of the events, who together with the Judicial Commission They have commissioned the removal of the body.

The National Police, which has not specified the age of the other two injured, has assured that it is continuing to investigate to fully clarify the facts and that it is currently unaware of the reason for the brawl.
