The Police have arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing this morning of a 25-year-old woman and their three-year-old daughter in the Madrid neighborhood of Carabanchel, in what is being investigated as a case of sexist violence. SAMUR-Civil Protection has indicated that the girl had injuries to her neck, while the woman had injuries to her chest and different parts of her body.
Police sources have reported the arrest of the 24-year-old man, who was found in serious condition with a wound to the neck in the same home where the bodies of the woman and the girl were found. He would be the woman's ex-partner and the girl's father. He had a restraining order.
The woman's body was located in the garage of the property, while that of the girl and the injured man were inside the house. The police continue with the investigation of the murder which, if confirmed, could be the 53rd sexist murder so far this year.
