Civil Guard officers have arrested a man accused of killing another after stabbing him in the head with a screwdriver while they were in the Valencian town of Catarroja.
As reported by the Armed Institute, the event took place this Thursday morning, when a 44-year-old man allegedly stabbed a 38-year-old man in the head with a screwdriver after an argument.
The victim was admitted in a very serious condition to the Hospital Universitari La Fe de València, where he died that same afternoon. The perpetrator has been arrested for a crime of injuries resulting in death.
Agents from the Alfafar Territorial Judicial Police Team have taken charge of the investigation, while the arrested person will be placed at the disposal of the Investigative Court number 4 of Catarroja.
