The Mossos d'Esquadra and the Urban Guard of Barcelona arrested a man last weekend as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault for touching a woman on Montjuïc.
It is the second case that has been made public in less than 24 hours in the same area of Barcelona. This is a sexual assault that occurred inside a nightlife venue where a man would have touched the victim of a sexual nature.
According to Crónica Global, the guards warned of the situation after speaking with the girl who was very nervous inside the room. The local security applied the protocol provided for these cases and notified the Urban Guard.
According to police sources, the arrest took place the same night from Saturday to Sunday. As soon as they arrived at the scene, the agents located the man and took him to the Mossos d'Esquadra de Sants-Montjuïc police station, from where the case is being handled.
The detainee remained in the hands of the Catalan police until he was brought before the courts.
