A very curious image: If you look through the window of the bell tower of the Campdevànol church, in the Ripollès region, you can see the hermitage of Sant Grau, as can be seen in this series of photographs in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia .
The parish church dates back to the 18th century, although it was rebuilt in 1945 due to the aftermath of the civil war and the 1944 earthquake.
The parish temple is part, together with a farmhouse and the cemetery, of an architectural complex of high quality and conservation.
The fantastic 46-meter-high bell tower stands out, through the window of which, at the height of the bell, you can see the small hermitage of Sant Grau.
The hermitage of Sant Grau appears mentioned for the first time in the year 1366, although it is likely that it existed much earlier, since, among the parchments of the Molinou d'Armàncies farmhouse, the toponym of the Sant Grau hill has been mentioned since the year 1280. as a limit of possessions.
