A fog belt for Montseny

Today we are in the Vallès Oriental region, where in recent hours we have watered the territory a little. In addition to raining, it has also snowed.

And luckily, we have a great mountain, Montseny, which from time to time gets some snowfall. In this series of photographs in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos we can see it crowned in white, although the belt of fog that can be seen on the mountainside also stands out.

The snowfall, therefore, is concentrated above all at the highest levels, leaving the peaks white from the snow and also from the fog that covered the mountain. So, between the snow, the rain and the fog, the atmosphere and feeling this week has been that of the middle of winter.

Montseny is one of the busiest and most popular natural parks, largely due to its proximity to the Barcelona area.

The pronounced reliefs it presents and the rich ecological variety stand out. For this reason, in 1978 UNESCO declared it a biosphere reserve.
