A false bomb threat forces the evacuation of three Madrid Metro stations

The National Police have evacuated three stations on Line 1 of the Madrid Metro due to a bomb threat at the Alto del Arenal station that, finally, turned out to be false. During the investigations, however, the Puente de Vallecas and Nueva Numancia stations have been closed as a precaution.

Suburban transport has been interrupted for 70 minutes since 4:50 p.m. after an individual threatened to detonate a device at the Alto del Arenal facilities.

It was Metro's own official account on the social network

As revealed by Vozpópuli, the police are reviewing the recordings to locate a suspect who responds to the following description: "a blonde man, wearing a red sweatshirt and blue jacket, between 20 and 30 years old."
